Dardasha: Let's Speak Egyptian Arabic : A Multidimensional Approach to the Teaching and Learning of Egyptian Arabic As a Foreign Language (Let's Speak African Language Series) ReviewThis is a fantastic book for learning Egyptian Arabic. The book comes with a CD with audio recordings for each of the dialogues. Each chapter has a theme, with a corresponding main dialogue, cultural notes, mini-dialogues, grammar lessons, and exercises to go along with each segment. Even the grammar exercises have audio recordings. The book is in English and Egyptian Arabic, which is written using the Arabic alphabet. I found it helpful having already studied Modern Standard Arabic before I approached this book, but the book is completely manageable even with no background in Arabic.
