American Headway Starter: Teacher's Resource Book ReviewI have used this series of books myself, and they are very good. Well thought-out and highly recommended. I would just point out that this "starter" book is not really for absolute beginners, at least in Thailand, Russia, or any other country using a non-Latin alphabet.
