Thai-English/English-Thai Dictionary and Phrasebook (Dictionary and Phrasebooks) ReviewAfter reading through this phrasebook, I've but two main observations. First is the positive. The tone markers are incredibly easy to understand, in fact, it is the best system I've seen so far. My only complaint is that there is absolutely no Thai scrpit in the book at all. So if you are having trouble pronouncing the word, your Thai friend/companion/etc. cannot simply read the Thai script and help you out. Other than that this is a nice phrasebook which has come in handy when I've used it in conjunction with other Thai language-learning materials.Thai-English/English-Thai Dictionary and Phrasebook (Dictionary and Phrasebooks) OverviewThis book provides basic grammar and the vocabulary and phrases essential to any traveller. All Thai words are spelled in the English alphabet, thus making it an easy reference for people unfamiliar with Thai script.

While this book is useful, keep in mind that it is only a supplement for learning and you will still need a Thai-English dictionary and other Thai learning materials. However, this is a valuable addition to my Thai language library.
Instant Thai: How to express 1,000 different ideas with just 100 key words and phrases (Instant Phrasebook Series) OverviewInstant Thai contains 100 key words and over 500 basic sentences necessary for getting around in Thailand. It also has an English-Thai wordlist, arranged alphabetically. At the end of the book are useful appendices for telling the time, kinship terms, some Thai proverbs, and emergency expressions.
