Nothing is more difficult in writing than thinking of an idea and getting started. For the first time many of them want to write because the story starters are so compelling they want to start the story and see where it takes them. I also enjoy the sensible teaching tips from a seasoned pro in the classroom. You can find most of this info on the internet for free, and the only reason it sells as well as it does is because it is required by many college instructors. The 7th edition features new rules to various topics, like Works Cited Pages. They haven't been changed in years, but apparently now italicizing is IN and underlining is OUT.
